Each wedding collection begins with an enquiry. We’ll be in touch within 48 business hours to confirm availability and guide you through the next steps.
STEP 02
Consultation
Once availability is confirmed, we arrange a pre-wedding consultation — in person or via Zoom. This is where we walk through your day, discuss timing, light, and priorities, and ensure the photography is thoughtfully planned.
STEP 03
Booking
Following your consultation, we’ll provide your booking agreement and invoice. Your date is secured once the contract is signed and the retainer is received.
As your day approaches, we remain available for questions and guidance. Any final details are confirmed in the lead-up to ensure everything feels clear and unhurried.
STEP 04
Wedding Day & Delivery
On the day, we photograph with intention and care, guiding where needed and documenting quietly as moments unfold.
Sneak peeks are delivered within 48 hours, with your full collection carefully curated and delivered via a private online gallery within the timeline stated in your contract.
(Turnaround is typically around six weeks, depending on the season.)

How far in advance should we book?
Most couples enquire 5–12 months in advance, particularly for summer and early autumn dates. That said, we occasionally have availability closer to the date. We recommend reaching out as soon as your date is confirmed.
How do we choose the right collection?
Collections are chosen based on the rhythm of your day rather than hours alone. During your pre-wedding consultation, we’ll walk through your plans and help guide you toward the collection that best supports what you want preserved.
Do you photograph with two photographers?
Yes. Every Vow collection includes two photographers. This allows your day to be documented from multiple perspectives, capturing both the larger narrative and the quieter moments unfolding simultaneously.
How many images will we receive?
We average approximately 50 carefully curated images per hour of coverage. Each gallery is edited with consistency and intention, prioritising quality and cohesion over excess.
Do you travel for weddings?
Travel within the Manawatū is included in all Vow Collections.
For celebrations beyond this region, travel is quoted separately and discussed during the enquiry process. Travel is calculated using current Inland Revenue Department (IRD) mileage rates to ensure consistency and fairness.

Can we choose our start time?
Yes. Coverage is flexible and begins when it best suits your day — whether that’s preparations, ceremony, or another meaningful moment.

Additional coverage can be added at $250 per hour. This can be arranged in advance or on the day, ensuring moments are never rushed or missed. We will never leave without checking with you first.
When will we receive our photos?
Sneak peeks are delivered within 48 hours of your wedding. Your full gallery will be ready within the timeframe outlined in your contract, allowing each image to be edited with care.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes. All Vow collections include 50% off our Becoming collection, offering space to become familiar in front of the camera before the wedding day.
How will we receive our images?
Your photographs are delivered via a private online gallery, allowing for easy viewing, downloading, and sharing. Galleries are designed for both digital use and print.
Do you help with timeline planning?
We do. Our pre-wedding consultation includes guidance around timing, light, and flow to ensure the photography supports the natural rhythm of your day.
What happens after we enquire?
Once we receive your enquiry, we’ll be in touch to confirm availability and guide you through the next steps. If we’re a good fit, a pre-wedding consultation will be booked and your contract will follow.
