These sessions mark the in-between — getting engaged, becoming parents, becoming something new. Photographed with gentleness and intention, each collection preserves the beauty of what is unfolding, without rush or expectation.
Created for the blank spaces that will one day hold meaning, these images honour beginnings — moments that deserve to be remembered not only for what they are now, but for what they lead into.

Preferred Locations
Our sessions take place within a small, curated selection of settings chosen for their light, texture, and ability to frame people beautifully. Options include the Beach, offering open skies, soft movement, and light shaped by the sea; Roseburn Park (subject to availability), with layered greenery, structured paths, and a sense of quiet intimacy; and The Lagoon, where still water and muted tones create a slower, more reflective atmosphere. These locations have been selected for their consistency of light and ease of guidance.
Custom locations may be requested and are subject to availability and travel.
STEP 01
Enquiry
Each Becoming collection begins with an enquiry. We’ll be in touch within 48 business hours to confirm availability and guide you through the next steps.
STEP 02
Booking
Once availability is confirmed, we’ll send through your booking agreement, questionnaire, and invoice.
Your session is secured once the contract is signed and the retainer is received.
STEP 03
Guidance
After booking, you’ll receive a What to Wear guide to help you prepare with confidence. We’re always happy to answer questions as your session approaches.
The day prior to your session, we’ll be in touch with a final message confirming time, location, and details.
STEP 04
Your Collection & Delivery
On the day, Your session is gently guided with care and intention, allowing space for connection while shaping each frame thoughtfully.
Sneak peeks are delivered within 48 hours, with your full collection carefully curated and delivered via a private online gallery within the timeline stated in your contract.
(Turnaround is typically around two weeks, depending on the season.)

When is the best time to schedule a Becoming collection?
For maternity collections, sessions are typically photographed between 30–36 weeks, when the season is visibly unfolding while still allowing comfort and ease. Engagement sessions can be scheduled at any point leading up to your wedding.
Where do Becoming collections take place?
Sessions can take place at any location. We’re happy to guide you in choosing a setting that reflects this season and how you hope the images will live in your home.
Do you guide us during the session?
Yes. Becoming sessions are gently and intentionally guided, with attention given to posture, light, and composition — creating images that feel considered and enduring.
What should we wear?
Once your session is booked, you’ll receive a What to Wear guide to help you prepare. We recommend soft tones and textures that photograph beautifully and remain timeless.
Can partners or children be included?
Partners are welcome within the Becoming collection. Sessions including children are photographed as part of our Heirloom collection, which is designed to honour families.
How many images will we receive?
Each Becoming gallery includes a carefully curated selection of 15 images, edited with consistency and intention.
When will we receive our images?
Your gallery will be delivered via a private online link within the timeframe outlined at booking, allowing each image to be edited with care. (Turnaround is typically around two weeks, depending on the season.)
