Our sessions take place within a small, curated selection of settings chosen for their light, texture, and ability to frame people beautifully. Options include the Beach, offering open skies, soft movement, and light shaped by the sea; Roseburn Park (subject to availability), with layered greenery, structured paths, and a sense of quiet intimacy; and The Lagoon, where still water and muted tones create a slower, more reflective atmosphere.
Custom locations may be requested and are subject to availability and travel.

Enquiry
Each Heirloom collection begins with an enquiry. We’ll be in touch within 48 business hours to confirm availability and guide you through the next steps.
STEP 02
Booking
Once availability is confirmed, we’ll send through your booking agreement, questionnaire, and invoice.
Your session is secured once the contract is signed and the retainer is received.
STEP 03
Guidance
After booking, you’ll receive a What to Wear guide to help you prepare with confidence. We’re always happy to answer questions as your session approaches.
The day prior to your session, we’ll be in touch with a final message confirming time, location, and details.
STEP 04
Your Collection & Delivery
On the day, Your session is gently guided with care and intention, allowing space for connection while shaping each frame thoughtfully.
Sneak peeks are delivered within 48 hours, with your full collection carefully curated and delivered via a private online gallery within the timeline stated in your contract.
(Turnaround is typically around two weeks, depending on the season.)

What is the Heirloom collection?
The Heirloom is a family collection created to preserve connection, season, and relationship. These sessions are designed to document your family as you are now — creating photographs that will one day hold memory and meaning beyond the present.
Who is this collection for?
The Heirloom is suited to families of all stages — from young families to those marking milestones, growth, or simply a season worth remembering. Sessions are designed for two parents and their children.
How long is a family session?
Heirloom sessions are thoughtfully paced, allowing space for direction, connection, and ease. Session length is 30-40 minutes and designed to be long enough to create meaningful work, without becoming rushed or overwhelming.
Do you guide us during the session?
Yes. Sessions are gently and intentionally guided. We provide clear direction to help shape each frame, while allowing space for genuine interaction to unfold naturally within that structure.
What if our children don’t cooperate?
Children are welcomed exactly as they are. We approach sessions with patience and flexibility, working at their pace and allowing breaks when needed. The aim is never perfection, but presence.
What should we wear?
Once your session is booked, we provide guidance around styling and colour to help create a cohesive, timeless gallery. We recommend tones and textures that photograph beautifully and stand the test of time.
How many images will we receive?
Each Heirloom gallery includes a carefully curated selection of 15 images, edited with consistency and intention. Quality and cohesion are prioritised over quantity.
When will we receive our images?
Your gallery will be delivered via a private online link within the two week timeframe outlined in your contract, allowing each image to be edited with care.
Can extended family be included?
At this time, we’re unable to offer extended family sessions. Our Heirloom collection is thoughtfully designed to focus on immediate family, allowing space for a slower pace and a more considered experience.
Are gift cards available?
Yes. Heirloom gift cards are available upon request and make a meaningful gift for marking seasons such as anniversaries, birthdays, or family milestones.
